Gucci Icon Bit Medium Shoulder Bag

Although Gucci can be regarded as one of the top fashion brand, from its handbags I felt hard to find out fashion. The unchanged GG pattern and the monotone black, brown or off-white make me boring. For a long time I hope Gucci can melt some gorgeous colors into its design. In the 2009 fall and winter collection, there are some creations. For instance, the Purple Icon Bit Medium Shoulder Bag.

Coated in purple suede with purple leather trim, the Gucci bag may be not very gorgeous. But compared with the black one, it features more vividness and youth. Dilemma between Gucci Crest Boule Handbags

For the past few weeks, I've been finding a distinctive and interesting way to introduce some designer handbags. Have you ever encountered such situation that you decided to buy a handbag with $2,000, but the various sorts and styles make you dazzled? Recently my friends told me she wanted to buy a Gucci Crest Boule Handbag, but she was still hesitating between the medium top handle bag and medium shoulder bag.

Both Crest Boule Handbags are coated with dark green leather with green plexiglass and light gold hardware. Although dark green is not my favorite color, compared with Gucci invariable black, brown or tanned colors, the green melts some fresh elements into the whole design. The horsebit ring buckles, Gucci crest detail as well as Gucci script ornament add vividness and modernity into the monotonous dark green leather. Nevertheless, sitting in the front of handbag, the Gucci crest of the top handle bag is more standing out.

As to their function, the medium top handle bag is sized at 46 x 15 x 30 cm while the medium shoulder bag is measured at 45 x 34.5 cm. And both of them feature inside zip, mobile phone and PDA pockets. With double adjustable handles and adjustable and detachable shoulder strap, the top handle bag can be hand-held and carried across the shoulder. While the shoulder bag with single adjustable and detachable strap can be carried in the hand or on the shoulder.

From my personal point of view, I prefer the Crest Boule Medium top handle bag. Of course compared with the price of medium shoulder bag, £1080, it weighs a price of £1560, a little expensive. So, what are your opinions?
