Lindsay Lohan Shows Her Gucci Handbag

Lindsay Lohan Shows Her Gucci Handbag Here Lindsay Lohan comes again. The famous American actress, model and pop singer is trying to make her slouchy summery ensemble look elegant with a Gucci Handbag. Well, that Gucci bag is utterly luxurious, and it definitely helps in making one exude some sophistication. But still, it looks totally odd to pair it with something like what Lindsay Lohan is wearing here.

Her summery cropped peasant blouse, cropped cut-offs, and fringed pair of sandals are simply too tacky and the bag is definitely not. Perhaps if she paired her whole outfit with a boho-chic purse, she would somehow pull off a stylish and trendy look.

I hope she knows how to give justice to the bag, especially knowing how a Gucci fan she is. So anyway, speaking of that bag… it comes in the signature printed canvas with cowhide trimming. It opens through a double zipped closure and it would show a really large compartment for all your vacation essentials. You can carry it through the double top handles like Lindsay, or perhaps through the shoulder strap for an easier way and hands-free option.

You know this Gucci bag would surely be a perfect carry while you're on your vacation getaway this summer. It would definitely keep you luxurious and even let other people know that you are indeed a smart and stylish individual, more so if you paired it with a smart-looking outfit unlike Lohan's.

Lindsay Lohan is Toting the Gucci Irina Tote

Lindsay Lohan is Toting the Gucci Irina Tote I cannot remember how many times I have mentioned Lindsay Lohan with her Gucci handbags. I had to say she is an unmitigated Gucci aficionado. This time, she's toting the Gucci Irina Tote while in her wintery outfit, which indeed makes her even more elegant looking. Actually, she has already been spotted carrying another Gucci Irina Tote but in white version, and this black version is just equally stunning and actually more classic.

The bag kind of brings a hint of vintage appeal to it, and it very well complemented her brown leather jacket and tanned boots. It is made from sumptuous suede, and it is designed with Baltic blue suede trim and with some brass-tone hardware. It has heart-shaped Gucci crest detail that accents the exterior front of this bag, plus it also has diamond-like patterned stitching on top and on the sides with studs.

This bag is sized just enough to keep Lindsay's every stylish essential, measuring about 13 x 15 2/5 x 4 7/10 inches and with zip and cell phone pockets for additional storage. As you can see, Lindsay managed to comfortably carry the bag with its gold-tone studded double handles with ring attachments.

I am sure that there are many other ensembles that could go well with this Gucci Irina Tote, but for the fall and winter season, I think Lindsay Lohan's outfit is a perfect match.

Lindsay Lohan with a Gucci Handbag

lindsay-lohan-with-a-gucci-handbagA lot of celebrities are big fans of designer handbags, such as Jessica Simpson, Victoria and Lindsay Lohan. We have seen them with Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes and more. Here comes a picture of Lindsay Lohan toting a Gucci purse.

Also, she has always proven that no matter how casual and simple her outfits are, carrying a designer bag truly makes her exude a statement luxe appeal.

Her typical monochrome uniform of a slouchy white tee, black leggings and knee-high boots looks great on her so much that she's always seen on that outfit. Her unbalanced hair is also a plus factor to her full elegance, and as well as the way she carries her chic Gucci handbag.

The bag is a classic in monogram style with tan leather trimmings and forest green and red stripes to complete. Although a black purse could have been better to finish off her monochrome look, the bag manages to give her totality an edge.

The bag looks structured and would surely give enough space for more than just your stylish essentials. The top handles are also enough to have it tuck over your arm, as Lindsay does, showing some sophistication all throughout.

I'm not sure though how much this bag is worth, but looking at it already gives an idea that this is a luxury with a hefty tag.

Jessica Simpson with Gucci Hysteria Tote

jessica-simpson-with-gucci-hysteria-tote

Celebrities with handbags from famous fashion house always attract the gaze of people. Recently Jessica Simpson appeared at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport with her Gucci Hysteria Tote and Louis Vuitton Dog Carrier which really caught a lot of attention. The Gucci Hysteria large tote is in a dark brown python skin with subtle sheen and has a metal Gucci crest on the center front, giving this bag some real branding luxury. It measures about 18 x 8 x 15 inches and can still be expanded through the side ties. This makes this bag a perfect carry for any types of vacation. It carries a hefty price tag of $4,590, which only proves that Jessica Simpson is that well-off. The richness doesn't stop from there as she was also seen carrying the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Sac Chien or the Dog Carrier. It is said to be a present from her ex-husband Nick Lachey which is priced at $1,890. It has a one side fitted with breathable mesh, a zip top for easy entry and removal, of course a washable lining, and leather handles and trim. This holds a dimension of 16 x 12 x 9, so it would probably fit any pups of that vital size. If I'm also loaded with bucks, I think I might also give my dog that comfort. But for now, I guess I will just opt for a cheaper dog carrier and a cheaper Gucci bag for myself.

Rihanna is known for her funky style, young appeal, never ending legs, and brilliant voice. Gucci creative director Frida Giannini has said, I wanted Rihanna on board with this project because she is so young, so modern, and so iconic.

Rihanna adds, I have always been a fan of the Gucci brand and the products, especially their handbags. But most of all, I am very intrigued by what they are doing with UNICEF. As an artist, I feel like it is our duty to make it a better place if we can. I am blown away by what UNICEF has been able to accomplish in Africa with the money that Gucci has donated to them. I am very fortunate to be part of this wonderful collaboration.

Jessica Simpson with Her Gucci Horsebit Hobo

jessica-simpson-with-her-gucci-horsebit-hoboJessica Simpson, as the epitome of the fashion icon, is the girl who is never seen wearing anything but the trendiest and best bags. Now she even is as privileged to be wearing a different color every other day. I know I don't have that luxury, although I would love to, but I'm not making commercials about Pizza Hut's Buffalo Chicken Pizza either (yea, like that takes a lot of brains?!) Back to the Gucci. Mrs. Newlywed herself has been seen sporting the Gucci Horsebit Hobo in Pink and also tabacco colored lambskin and black lambskin.

The Large Horsebit Hobo is part of the Gucci Spring/Summer 2005 cruise line of handbags. On the website there is a variety of colors and fabric material offered, but the pink that Jessica has been sporting is no where to be found. The bag ranges from $980 to $25,000. Wait, wait… is that the right number of zeros? Umm yes. The Gucci Mahogany Crocodile Large Horsebit Hobo with light gold hardware can be yours for the price of a new car. The worst part is, there are actually real people who can afford that. Sigh. It is a large hobo style with horsebit detail strap and inside zip pocket. The large bag is about 18.8 x 4.8 x 15 inches, which is a pretty decent size, if you ask me. The black leather is about $1,290, which is still a hefty price to pay, but no where near $25,000.

Pop Princess Endorses Luxury Brand

Even the most upscale designers know the advantages of smart marketing, especially when the hottest celebrities lend their name to the campaigns. Gucci's Creative Director, Frida Giannini, knew what she was doing when she hired one of the year's top names to represent their elite Gucci handbags and accessories.

In winter of 2008, R&B headliner Rihanna agreed to appear in a series of ads supporting Gucci's special-edition Tattoo Heart Collection. Within this unique line are white Gucci handbags, silk Gucci scarves, and canvas Gucci totes, all adorned with retro-style hearts, flowers, and stars. The distinguishing factor of this collection is that proceeds will be contributed to UNICEF, the world-renowned non-profit organization.

090323-others-pop-princess-endorses-luxury-brandRihanna was drawn to the offer to model for Gucci largely due to the brand's UNICEF involvement. For every sale from the Tattoo Heart Collection, 1/4 of the proceeds will be contributed to UNICEF, who will use the donated monies to launch children's initiatives and activities in sub-Saharan Africa, with the hopes of improving their quality of life.

An active philanthropist prior to partnering with Gucci, Rihanna created The Believe Foundation in 2006. This charitable organization was designed to assist poor kids with obtaining the nutrition and medicine they need to stay healthy.

Not only is she one of the most widely heralded young singers of her time, Rihanna is a diehard Gucci handbag collector. Her edgy, fashion-forward style appeals to Gucci's younger customers, bringing the brand a much-needed breath of fresh air. 20-year-old Rihanna, who was born and raised in Barbados, is well-known throughout the industry for her striking exotic looks and amazing physique. She's a common fixture at the most prestigious fashion shows, and she is currently working to develop her own apparel collection.

The stunning, creatively depicted campaign shows Rihanna suspended from a life-sized hoop, provocatively dressed in a skimpy white bodysuit and brandishing a large white Gucci purse. Creative Director Giannini was thrilled with how Rihanna fit right in with the creative team's personalities and visions. As Giannini put it, "A musician and beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign." Gucci also produced a brief advertising film featuring Rihanna.

Rihanna's campaign was preceded by two other stints. Just last year, Claire Danes appeared in advertisements for Gucci jewelry. The brand's first spokesmodel was famous actress Drew Barrymore, who also peddled fine jewelry.

Launched in 1921, Gucci has endured several decades of internal conflict among the founding family members, due to disputes about operational aspects. In recent years, a majority of the family has distanced themselves from the fashion house. Today, Gucci has retained its status as one of the industry's most elite and highly demanded fashion houses.

Rihanna Becomes the New Face of Gucci

090323-others-rihanna-becomes-the-new-face-of-gucciEven the most iconic fashion houses can benefit from a well-crafted advertising campaign, especially when it's boosted by celebrity endorsements. The marketing team at Gucci -- headed by creative director Frida Giannini -- seems to understand the power of hiring a big-name personality to peddle their luxury handbags and accessories.

This past winter, pop princess Rihanna lent her name to promoting the label when she signed up to front Gucci's special-edition product line, the Tattoo Heart Collection. This special series includes Gucci handbags, canvas totes, and silk scarves, all in white and emblazoned with tattoo-style hearts, stars, and flowers. The collection will be sold to benefit UNICEF, one of the world's most respected charitable organizations.

One of the driving factors behind Rihanna's decision to partner with Gucci was the brand's philanthropic work with UNICEF. A generous 25% of all proceeds from the Gucci handbags in the Tattoo Heart Collection will be donated to the renowned non-profit. For this particular campaign, UNICEF will use the contributions to improve the quality of children's lives in sub-Saharan Africa.

Rihanna's partnership with Gucci isn't the pop star's first foray into philanthropy. In 2006, she created The Believe Foundation, a charity intended to help impoverished children receive the food and medication they need.

One of the music industry's most talented young performers, Rihanna is also a self-confessed Gucci handbag addict. She exhibits a fun, funky style that resonates with younger consumers, bringing a cutting-edge modernization to the venerable brand. Originally from Barbados, 20-year-old Rihanna is renowned for her unique, exotic look and model-esque presence. She has a reputation as a fashionista, often attending the hottest fashion shows and even making plans to launch her own fashion line.

In the Gucci handbag ad, Rihanna is seen hanging from a giant hoop, scantily clad in a barely-there white bodysuit and wearing an oversized white Gucci purse. Giannini has stated that the creative team needed a strong personality to headline the efforts, and that "a musician and a beautiful woman was the perfect icon for this campaign." The riveting print ad was supplemented by a brief film produced by Gucci, in which Rihanna is also featured.

Rihanna is the third celebrity to endorse the luxury brand. In 2008, Claire Danes became the face of Gucci jewelry. The prior year, Gucci's jewelry collection was touted by world-famous actress Drew Barrymore, who served as the company's first celebrity spokesmodel.

Since its inception in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, the Gucci fashion house has experienced decades of highs and lows, fueled by numerous conflicts among the family pertaining to the business' operations. Today, with most of the family dispelled, Gucci has risen again and continues to serve as one of the fashion industry's most formidable forces.

Rihanna, Madonna, and More at Gucci's Tattoo Heart Celebration

Frida Giannini, Madonna, and RihannaGucci's Frida Giannini Talks Ink and It Bags at UNICEF Benefit Gucci lit up New York last night with not one, but three, events. First, creative director Frida Giannini and pop princess Rihanna-the face of the label's new Tattoo Heart Collection benefiting UNICEF-hit the corner of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue to do the honors at the charity's annual snowflake lighting. "Both of us were really excited because we're not even from New York!" said Giannini of flipping the switch on the iconic 3,300-pound Baccarat crystal fixture.
Afterward, they headed to Gucci's Fifth Avenue store, where they were joined by Anya Rubik, Erin Wasson, and Natasha Poly to celebrate the all-white, tattoo-printed handbag line, 25 percent of the proceeds of which go to UNICEF programs for orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Since 2005, the limited-edition holiday bags have raised $6 million for the organization, and Giannini choose Rihanna as a spokesmodel this time around after the two met at a Gucci party in February. "Apart from her beauty and talent, she's sensitive to the cause, so she's perfect for it," said the designer. That, and the singer has several tattoos that helped inspire the collection, including a row of stars that snake up the back of her neck and that are now immortalized on the Gucci totes. "It was appropriate for UNICEF because a tattoo leaves a permanent mark that you can't forget," said the tattoo-free Giannini ("I've never been brave enough!"). To cap off the night, the ladies headed to the Oak Room for a VIP dinner that attracted Timbaland, Mary J. Blige, Blake Lively, and-to much fanfare and flashbulbs-Madonna.
