This Gucci heir is not cashing in on her famous surname, well, not directly anyway (And if she did, she'd get sued by the Gucci group. Oh, and her mother is in jail for arranging a hitman to kill her father. The Gucci tale is one of murder and madness!). Alessandra Gucci's line of handbags, called AG Limited Edition has created quite a stir in the fashion industry because of her name but they will be remembered for their unique designs. I am not a big fan of over embellished bags without much function but I do appreciate the unique design of the one above-- it is the perfect bag for Fancy Nancy in her chauffeured Bentley! There will only be 99 AG Limited bags made in three styles and three colors, wholesale price is steep at $6,665 to $10,134 (meaning retail will be a bit more than double that). What do you think? We expected nothing less of Gwen Stefani than to be an uber stylish mom. She probably doesn't even know what a Baby Bjorn is (either does Danny Moder who uses it as a manbag) but instead opts for the Gucci baby carrier that comes in the beige or black GG for $760. We love the moms who remind us that being a mommy doesn't mean you have to live in Crayola technicolor hell. We are in New York and having a great time. I spent Sunday afternoon roaming around the city between shows (it was almost 50 degrees when I arrived, my friends say I brought the sunshine!) and soaking in the amazing energy of the greatest city on earth. I bring my toddler son here 3-4 times a year and he has grown to love "N'york", as he calls it. He especially loves going to the parks and many playgrounds the city has to offer.
